How to choose a tennis racket
Weight, balance, head size and grip. We break it down with Wilson, Babolat and Head.

The first beginner mistake is buying a champion's racket. If you play twice a week, start with 285-300 grams: less arm fatigue, more free power.
Head size sets the sweet spot. 100 sq in, like the Pure Aero or Pure Drive, is the sweet middle. 97-98, like the Blade, gives control but asks for precision.
To check grip size, hold the racket: the index finger of your other hand should fit between your fingertips and palm. G2 and G3 suit most players.
Not sure where to start? A TOQI courier can bring two rackets to try and take one back.
